Boil Water Rescind Notice for South Tower 11-7-2026

On November 5, 2026, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system, MacBee Special Utility District, PWS ID #2340045, to issue a Boil Water Notice (BWN) for the above area and to inform our customers that, due to the distribution pressure dropping below 20 PSI or an interruption in service, water from our system must be boiled before consumption. Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality. It has provided TCEQ with testing results indicating that the water no longer requires boiling as of November 7, 2026. Update: Emergency Repair on FM 47

Update: This repair will not require a boil-water notice.
A customer has reported hitting a main line on FM 47 near the old sale barn / Four Winds area. This may cause you to experience low or no water pressure. Our crew is en route to repair the line. We are unaware of how long this repair may take. A potential boil-water notice may be issued once the repair is complete. We will follow up with an alert. Thank you for your patience.
